Another last minute gig in London tomorrow. Will it be another empty room? Headline support and free entry suggests no, but I choose to remain pessimistic. On the plus side, the artwork for No Man's Land is fully rendered and we are just waiting on the files before we can send off the masters for duplication!

Keep a close eye on http://www.pabloandthepaintset.bigcartel.com for CD's going on sale. T shirts are already there should anyone take an interest. Lovely job.

And now onwards with writing about David Bowie for a pointless module of a pointless degree.

Hello reader!

It's been an exciting few weeks for us. We finished recording our new EP "No Man's Land" with Alex Loring at Maple Leaf Studios last Thursday. The masters should be in our hands within a couple of weeks and a new song will be up on the internet very soon after that! Unfortunately it's going to be three or four months before we get the record out to you physically, however, it will be available sooner digitally - more details on that to follow..

We're currently booking a tour for this Summer to coincide with the No Man's Land release, so make sure you come down to a show in your local town. There are some new t-shirt designs on their way as well, along with stickers and badges - so get your hands on them when they're available.

For now, sit tight. There will be some new material coming your way this month - and exciting news regarding the record's release!

To keep you interested we've made a little video of our time in the studio..

Enjoy, we will speak soon.

Who's the swine? I'm the swine

Well I've finally succumbed to the prevailing health consensus and arguably contracted the wonderful swine sourced influenza virus. Luckily I managed to hold out long enough to play last weeks Oxjam Battle Of The Bands, although this was of course to no avail and we missed out on the opportunity to play on a Sunday night at a venue that precious few people still attend. Bad times. At least we were beaten by a band with the valuable skill to supplement their performance with layer upon layer of pre-recorded backing vocals. I shall choose to arrogantly and ignorantly retain my pride on this occasion.

Factory writers and the swallowing...of pride

So, with two days before my first attempt to sell out like a mug, i'm sitting in bed attempting to write a passage with which to sell my soul. No matter how many times i'm told it's jobs like this that will feed me as a continue to strive for success with the songs i believe in, it doesn't make me feel better. Still, not like i've been offered any kind of job yet so i can put that dilemma at the back of my mind and go and eat some crumpets, very relaxing and very suited to a horrendously sunny evening.

not the newest, but new enough...

Gallows, Grey Britain...fucking epic. Lyrics for political vandalism and picket lines, pure genius.
The Enemy, Music For The People...Beatles vs Zeppelin for however long, unexpected but we like to have it in the car to get lairy.
aaaand
